BANFI ZAMBRELLI
Silvano Banfi is from a Milanese shoe making family and by the age of 18 was designing/ producing for the likes of Gucci, Lario and Versace. Frank Zambrelli was headed to medical school when a trip to Europe radically altered his plans and he wound up at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Both men found their way to Coach where they met. Similar design views and a sincere interest in the art of finely crafted, luxury accessories, they vowed to start their own studio. The dream was realized in 2002. Soon, after they became the creative force behind the repositioning of the Judith Leiber brand- Leiber. They also support the design and development of collections for Calvin Klein, Nanette Lepore and others…..the Banfi Zambrelli studio is a very busy place!
